What makes terraces different
Terraces are wide, fully exposed and take the full load of sun and monsoon wind. A net specified for a balcony will sag and degrade quickly here.
We use a heavier net and design the support first — perimeter anchors, a tensioned wire grid, and posts where the span is too wide to cross in one run. Rain runoff and drainage points are kept clear.
Typical terrace applications
- Private terraces attached to top-floor apartments.
- Rooftop sit-outs, party areas and society common terraces.
- Terrace gardens where birds damage plants and soil.
- Rooftop utility areas with water tanks, pumps and machinery.
- Restaurant and cafe rooftop seating, where hygiene rules make bird access unacceptable.
Planning the installation
A site visit is more important on terraces than anywhere else, because span, parapet condition and available anchor points decide the design and the price. We measure and mark the layout before quoting.
Where the terrace has to remain fully open at times, a partial cover over the seating or planting zone is often a better answer than netting the whole roof.
